J gave me a call a few weeks ago and told me she was going to be home for the holidays and wanted to get her family together for some pictures. She is in the Army, stationed in El Paso, and I was honored to work with her and her fun-loving family. Thank you so much, J, for serving our country!

Merry Christmas!
The very purpose of Christ's coming into the world was that he might offer up his life as a sacrifice for the sins of men. He came to die. This is the heart of Christmas.

The H Family {Mini-Session}
Check out this adorable family I had the pleasure of meeting today. Little Mr. A was a ball of energy, and there was just so much for him to explore that he hardly had time to sit still for a picture. I can't blame him! If I had a fraction of the energy and enthusiasm that he has, I wouldn't want to slow down either! Enjoy Christmas this year, H family! I know you'll have a great time with this precious boy!

The O Family
Wow! What a great session I had with this family! Aren't they amazingly photogenic? Not to mention cool, fun, and super easy-going. Little E was the model 3-year-old, and his big sis was amazingly sweet and helpful. I loved working with you guys! Thanks for the great time!
This may be my fav. Check Little Man out standing on his tippy-toes. Love it!

The S Family
This was a super fun session for me to do, because B is one of my friends, and I just adore her boys. When she told me her mother-in-law wanted to have pictures done of the whole family, and that we were going to do them at B's house (on her fabulous land that I am trying so hard to not be jealous of!!), I was thrilled for the opportunity.

The F Sisters {Cypress Children's Photographer}
It's always fun when I get to work with friends, and I had a great time shooting someone else's two precious girls for a change. This is K and A, who are almost exactly the same age as my daughters. Aren't they cuties?
The M-E Family {Houston Family Photographer}
One of the best things about this job is getting to meet so many wonderful families. (Is it just a fluke that literally everyone I've worked with has been awesome?) This family is no exception. Check out their two beautiful, extremely well-behaved and adorable kids.
Little Miss M was just perfect, and her precious brother was all boy.

Baby C {Cypress Baby, Child Photographer}
I just couldn't get enough of this little cutie! He was such a happy baby, and his mom was so much fun to work with. He's in that adorable stage where he is just now getting the hang of sitting up, and has totally mastered the little baby army crawl. This precious guy is going to be a heartbreaker when he gets older!

K Family {Northwest Houston Family Photographer}
I love this family! OK, yes, I'm a little biased since I've known Dad since 6th grade. However, Mom is an awesome, sweet person, and precious R is just a doll. It was wonderful getting to do my "job" while spending time with family friends. Thanks for inviting me to document this time in your life!

3 Monkeys and a Princess {Cypress area family / children's photographer}
The S family was energetic, active, happy ... and so much fun to work with! These kids love skipping rocks and climbing trees, and were happiest to just run around. With their parents' help, I was able to corral them in for a few good shots. What cuties! I even got a hug at the end!

The R Family {Christmas / Holiday Photographer}
I don't think I have ever seen a happier 8-month-old than precious little D! That cutie pie looked right at me and smiled almost the whole time. It helped that her mom brought along Grandma and Grandpa. (I sure wish I had a video of Grandpa trotting and panting behind me like the dog D saw go by and loved. I need to hire him to help with all of my shoots!!) Thanks for allowing me to capture these moments with your beautiful family, O. And tell J thanks again for being my hero and rescuing my sunglasses from the pond before they became turtle food!

A and M {Cypress, Jersey Village Engagement Photographer}
How cute is this couple? They were so sweet and happy to just go with the flow. I loved the way they laughed at my jokes (even when they probably weren't that funny), and how they looked at each other with such love and respect. I wish you two the best, and can't wait to do your bridals!!

P Family {Houston Baby, Child, Family Photographer}
I had a wonderful time with this sweet family this weekend. Despite the fall chill in the air, it was a beautiful day and we got some great shots. Baby E has the cutest little chubby cheeks and gorgeous eyes, and little G has just learned to stand and cruise all by herself! With two little ones under the age of one (bis sis G's first birthday is this week!) this mom and dad are doubly blessed!!

Baby G {Houston area newborn photographer}
Welcome to the world, sweet boy! (It's hard to believe that my own baby was this tiny only 17 months ago!) I just couldn't get enough of Baby G's grunts and coos, and the adorable sounds he made as he inhaled his bottle. This little champ endured several clothing changes and various position adjustments, and was so laid-back and sweet throughout the whole thing (as were his parents). What an angel! Now if he will only sleep through the night for mommy and daddy ...

E and T {Cypress, Northwest Houston Engagement / Couples Photographer}
My good friend's brother-in-law recently got engaged, and I had the privilege of doing their engagement portraits. I had to be pretty silly to get them to come out of their shells (so now I'm sure they think I'm crazy) but we had a great time, and they are such a sweet couple!
The best part was that I secretly gave the finished pictures to my friend to display at their engagement party. So, they saw them for the first time there and got to show them off to everyone at the same time. I wish I could have seen their faces!
S and A {Cypress, Cy-Fair Couples / Family Photographer}
I worked with S's sister and her family a few months ago, and S liked the pictures so much that she asked me to take some pics of her and her husband. These two have been married for about a year and just wanted some fun pics of themselves. They were open to anything I suggested, and were soooo loving and sweet toward each other, you would think they just got married yesterday. They were constantly kissing, holding hands, and beaming at each other. It was awesome to see!
And how cool are these graffiti walls?

K and K {Northwest Houston Engagement / Couples Photographer}
I got to meet this precious couple at the church they'll be getting married in. What a gorgeous location! They were so sweet and just made a perfect pair. Good luck and God bless to you both!
K, Class of 2010 {Houston Senior Portrait Photographer)
This gorgeous girl was so much fun to work with and such a sweetheart. Her mom, dad, and I ended up covered in mud (and birdpoop!!) and K ended up with a pretty wet booty, but never once complained. Congratulations and best wishes to this amazing 17-year-old!
