This is another great family I got to spend time with last weekend. These guys are friends with some of the other families I've worked with, so it was really fun to get to know them. Little Man C and his two big sisters were just perfect and so easy to photograph!

The S Family {Houston Family and Baby Photographer}

I met this sweet family last Saturday in a beautiful area of The Heights, and immediately connected with precious little C. What a doll she is! She's 13 months old and at that age where it's so much fun to run and explore. Her parents were fabulous to work with, and we had a great morning!

I LOVED her little baby curls! Isn't she precious?

The H Family {Northwest Houston Family Photographer}

I can't say enough good things about this amazing family! I had a wonderful time yesterday getting to know them. The kids were so incredibly sweet and kind, and the parents were just a joy to work with! I truly am so blessed to have a job that enables me to meet such great people.

I just love feet pictures! They show personality in such a fun way, from bruised knees to painted toes!

It was so nice to meet you, H Family, and I hope to see you again soon!

Wordless Wednesday ... Well, Not Really {Cypress, Houston Children's Photographer}

This gorgeous girl is Laurel. (I borrowed these first two pics from her website.) Maybe you already know her story. If not, you can follow it HERE. Her mommy is a friend of mine and is one of the most kind, loving, caring, gentle, faithful people I know. She is truly and absolutely full of God's grace.

Anyhow, Laurel's family is SO incredible that in conjunction with the Houston Astros, they are holding a major fundraiser this Saturday, the 18th. However, this is not to raise money for themselves, but to raise money for Texas Children's Cancer Center. (Yep, they're an amazing family, right?)

OK, so that definitely wasn't a wordless post, but I still encourage you to post one word that comes to your mind when you see Laurel's beautiful face.

Little Mr. K {Cypress Childrens Photographer}

This little guy just turned three and is in the throes of the why phase. Oh, he was SO cute!

Every time I asked him to do something, he would say, "Why?" in this super sweet, inquisitive little voice. He wasn't challenging me; I could tell he was truly curious.

Why would this crazy lady want me to sit right here on top of this leaf? Why does she want me to roar like a lion? Why are we going to walk over to this other place when the one right here seems just fine?

I loved it! He kept me laughing all morning and was an absolute joy to work with.

Hey, Mommy, thanks so much for bringing handsome little K out! I had a wonderful time with you both, and can't wait to do your maternity photos soon! (Readers, stay tuned .... this is one beautiful mama and I know she's going to rock her session!!)
