I hope everyone has been having a wonderful summer! I've been enjoying my hiatus to do just exactly what I've been needing to do: spend time with my sweet girls. Today's rain provided lots of fun!

I LOVE it when I get to photograph my own friend's children! Beautiful, perfect, petite Ivy visited me on her 4th day of life. Isn't she stunning?

I hadn't seen this beautiful mama and sweetie-pie, Maddie, since she was pregnant with little DJ. I'm so glad they came back and I got to meet the whole family! It's such an honor to have clients return to see me as their families grow and change!

I worked with this family abut two years ago, and was thrilled when they asked me to preserve some memories for them again. This time, we got to include family members all the way from South Africa and Australia!

Kelly {The FILM Project Session}

My words in describing this beautiful woman and her sweet family would be incredibly inadequate, so I'm going to share her reasons for requesting a FILM session. Then, you'll know exactly the kind of person she is. 

 Although my family and I were shocked by the diagnosis, we have found so many blessings through this journey. We have experienced faith at a deeper level, we have felt the love of the body of Christ in a more tangible way, and we have known peace that surpasses all understanding. We would love to have some pictures taken so we can remember this time - not just for the hardships, but also for the joy that comes with them.

I can't figure out if I've just gotten really lucky and had the most beautiful seniors in the area to photograph, or if they're just all this gorgeous these days! ;) Either way, Melissa was no exception ... absolutely beautiful inside and out.
