I've had the pleasure to work with my third one-year-old in a row (or should I say fifth, since the others were sets of twins?) and let me tell you, what a heartbreaker he was! This little man was happy, laid-back, and full of adorable toothy smiles. He was just a dream to shoot! I had the awesome pleasure of working with another set of 1-year-old twins this weekend! These two were just as cute as my previous session and such sweeties. Oh, and the little guys are completely identical! I absolutely LOVE the way their mom dressed them, and they really rocked the bright colors.

What can I say about this awesome family and these two absolutely PRECIOUS one-year-old twins? They braved the cold, brought along the most fun aunt any kid could ever dream of having, and made a fabulously yummy mess. We ended up with some great shots! Here's a sneak peek of these sweet siblings ... oh, and I saved my favorite picture for the end!

What a gorgeous day we had for my session with this beautiful family! This shoot involved lots of running around, playing, and stick-throwing in the pond. Check out these two precious kiddos.

CONTEST!! {You Be The Photographer!!}

It’s time to shake things up and have a little contest, so here's the deal:

1. Take a picture of a child/teen in your life (or you can submit a recent pic you already have, if you prefer).

2. Send your ONE favorite picture to me via email, faithfulstepsphoto@yahoo.com. I will then post them to a special contest album on my Facebook fan page.

3. Join my Facebook fan page, either by searching for “Faithful Steps Photography” on Facebook, or by the link found HERE.

4. Send people (your friends, family, co-workers, etc.) to join my Facebook fan page and VOTE for their favorite picture (i.e. YOURS!) :) Voting will begin on Feb. 8 and end on Valentine's Day.

5. The winner will be announced on Feb. 15 based on the total number of votes for each entered image. Votes are counted as comments on each individual image/entry. A person must be a fan of my Facebook page to vote. Votes from people that are not fans will not be counted!

RULES!

- Entries must be submitted by midnight on SUNDAY, FEB 7th! I will post all entries on Monday, Feb. 8, and the voting will begin immediately!!

- ONE entry per person.

The V Family {Cypress Area Family / Child Photographer}

I was asked by some great friends to do a session while their family was together. Now, I have known little J since before he was born, and he and I are buddies. I have a total soft spot in my heart for his big, beautiful eyes, and I think he knows I'm a sucker for his cute little smile. So imagine my surprise when THIS is what I got from him for the first part of our session!

Actually, it was pretty funny (did I mention I have a soft spot for this guy?) and I wasn't truly surprised. (Hey, I've been through the Terrible-Twos-Just-Turned-Threes stage!)

No problem, though! We played, everyone chilled out, we bribed, (marshmallows ... great idea, Misty!) we waited patiently, and eventually we got some adorable shots and a had a very happy little guy.
