This little family session was such a blast!! Wow, these two are sweet, fun, and sooooo photogenic!

Despite getting stuck (literally) at the beginning of the evening, the rest of the session couldn't have gone any better!! Thanks for a great shoot, R and D ... and Tootsie, too!

Introducing Charlie {Northwest Houston Newborn Photographer}

Last week a baby boy over 10 pounds, this week a little guy under 6 pounds ... both are PERFECT.

It was wonderful having the opportunity to photograph precious Charlie and his handsome brothers!

A Whole Lotta Baby Love {Cypress, TX Newborn Photographer}

Introducing the chubbiest, snuggliest, squishiest newborn I've ever had the pleasure to meet! This not-so-little guy was 10lbs 6oz when he was born 6 days ago! Wowza! He was a total dream to pose and slept for 99% of the session. I just couldn't get enough of those precious rolls!!

Before / After {Cypress, TX Child Photographer}

I thought it would be fun to share what my photos look like before they're edited.

Since I shoot in RAW, the images start out really dull looking because the camera doesn't compress, sharpen and boost the picture like it does in jpeg. I really like clean processing, where the images look like real life (but slightly better!) Some images take just a little bit of tweaking in Photoshop.

But sometimes it's fun to really push the processing, and I thought this image was the perfect candidate!

I had a really fun evening with this super sweet family. The sunlight was peeking through the clouds, the weather was nice, and the girls are as gorgeous as it gets! I got so many great pictures, it's going to be hard to narrow them down! Here's just a few for now ...

I loved having this sweet boy and his parents over yesterday. He was precious and perfect and oh, so tiny! He's very blessed to have two parents who are over-the-moon crazy about him! :)

Welcoming Baby K! {Cypress TX Newborn Photographer}

I was so thrilled when Mom contacted me back in the fall about doing newborn portraits for her sweet baby due in December. After taking her engagement pictures a couple years ago, as well as bridal portraits, it was so exciting for me to then have the opportunity to capture the beginning of her first child's new life.
