Having More Fun with Christmas Tree Lights

I just had to share this great post from Rachel Brenke with instructions on how to take a pretty picture of just your Christmas tree. This is something really fun to experiment with, and it doesn't even involve the need for bribery! ;)

I have a small obsession with turning off the autofocus and playing around with the bokeh. I do it every year. I think I get a tiny little secret rush because the inner rebel in me feels like a rule breaker. (Ha! My image is out of focus?? Yep, I did that on purpose!)

Anyway, here is Rachel's post:

Have fun!
